In cases where hard copies of the details have been asked for should reach the University within one week from the date of submission of the online application form. Applicant should clearly write their name, post applied for, department and application number in the envelope containing the above documents. 5. Important items required before filling up the online application form

Sl. No	Item Details
a.	Scanned copy of passport size applicant’s photograph Photograph must be a recent passport size colour photograph of the applicant taken against a light coloured background. Dimensions - 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) Size of file should be less than 300 kb. Format - JPEG
b.	Scanned copy of applicant’s signature in white paper. The signature should be clear and legible Dimensions- 300 x 100 pixels (preferred) Size of the scanned signature should be less than 300 kb. Format - JPEG
c.	Scanned copy of all necessary documents for respective positions. Format – PDF Size – As prescribed in online application form
d.	The name of the scanned document mentioned in above point 1 2 and 3 should not contain any special character. eg scanned copy of bachelor in science certificate should be name as bsc.pdf and not b.sc.pdf ( special character like "." "_" "/" is not to included in the file name of the scanned document which has to be uploaded in the document).
e.	Applicant should have a computer with stable internet connection while filling up and submitting the online application form in order to ensure that online form submission and the payment process is completed successfully. Preferred browser: Latest version of Mozilla Firefox. (You can download the browser application here)

6.	For post wise criteria, fee and all other important details, please read the Recruitment Advertisement Notice document, API document and all other relevant documents available in point 1 above and in the online portal carefully before applying. For any general clarifications required regarding the advertisement, the general helpline number may be contacted before applying online.
7.	Hard copies of all API related and other necessary documents as prescribed in the advertisement for applicable positions should reach Sikkim University by post addressed to The Registrar, Sikkim University, 6th Mile, Samdur, Tadong, Gangtok, East Sikkim, India – 737102 .
